We have a long-standing interest in elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate T helper cell fate decisions and functions in various physiological and disease settings, including infection, vaccination, and autoimmunity. Using sophisticated in vivo models and patient-derived samples, we are particularly interested in understanding T follicular helper (Tfh) cells, which provide essential help for potent antibody responses, e.g. through their interactions with B cells in germinal centers.
