Cluster Science Days 2024

Scientific and personal exchange among the scientists of ImmunoSensation2 is at the core of the annual internal ImmunoSensation2 science meeting - the Cluster Science Days. We thank all our scientists, speakers, contributors and guests for another great meeting, full of exchange, cooperation and networking.

Two days, packed with recent research findings, lively discussions and social events have come to an end. This years Cluster Science Days were once more characterized by the presentation of outstanding research, performed by the junior scientists at the cluster of excellence. Five thematic sessions offerded in-depth insights into different aspects of immunological reseach and once more showcased the diversity of research at ImmunoSensation2. From infectious over inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, neuro-immunology and immune-oncology, to the introduction of new technologies, once again the program offered exciting aspects and valuable impulses for everyone.

We were happy to welcome Fränze Progatzky from the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology at the University of Oxford as this years invited guest speaker, providing a highlight and a great closing to this years meeting.

The meeting was once again held at the Biomedical Centers I & II (BMZ I & II) at the UKB campus and was also streamed online to enable every ImmunoSensation2 scientists to participate and contribute. We hope everyone had a great time at the Cluster Science Days and are looking forward to the 12th issue in 2025. See you there!
