NeuVa Art Lab invites everyone interested to learn about the structure and functions of the neurovascular system in the brain by crafting mandalas using makramee.
What do blood vessels and neurons have in common with Makramee? At first glance, not much – but a closer look reveals shared patterns, complexity, and structural elegance.
NeuVa Art Lab invites everyone interested to learn about the structure and functions of the neurovascular system in the brain by crafting mandalas using makramee. The workshop will be guided by scientists from the Institute of Neurovascular Cell Biology at the University Hospital Bonn and the artists Paula Urrutia, aka. Ñemikafe.
All materials required for crafting will be provided. Participation is free of charge. No scientific background knowledge required.
